This beautiful silver plated piece would have been made in Japan in 1948 and likely sold to a US serviceman stationed there

Similar patterns were worn well into the 90s, but this is one of the earliest I've come across dating to the mid 1950s. Condition Worn but nice, some yellowing from age and a moth nip to the waistband.
